A little about us: We met in college earning our BAA’s in Photography where we spent 4 years together creating, learning, and occasionally making a group decision to not go to class. It wasn’t until we graduated that we individually wanted to get into wedding photography so we decided to do it together. All of these years later and we are still here, still best friends, and still shooting side by side.
What we love most is our ability to be storytellers; with each wedding, family, and event that we photograph our goal is to bring your stories to life by capturing authentic and intimate moments. We love a more structured, editorial, scene if you want to feel glamorous and chic, but ultimately we love to make our clients happy by simply capturing their love whether being a fly on the wall, giving guidance, or a little bit of both.
We aim to create an exciting and easy going photo experience that makes you feel comfortable and confident, beginning to end.
As you’ll see below we keep things simple around here with hourly coverage that lets you book exactly what you need, whether that’s a few hours for the moments that matter most, or full day coverage to capture your whole wedding story from start to finish. However your day unfolds, we want to create the right package that supports your day, your plans, and your story.

FAQ
What if I don’t know how many hours I want or need?
That’s not a problem at all! If you have a rough idea of your schedule and the moments you most want captured we can begin with enough time to cover them. As your day approaches and plans are set, we can update our hours of coverage adding more or less as needed. When we book a wedding we book the entire day off for you, whether we’re with you for 2 hours or 12 hours, so we’re flexible with our timing together.
What’s the payment breakdown?
For bookings 4hrs or less we do two 50/50 instalments; half due as a non-refundable retainer to secure your date, and the remaining balance due 4 weeks after your wedding.
For bookings 5hrs or more we do three instalments; $900 non-refundable retainer to secure your date, 50% of your balance due 4 weeks before your wedding, and the remaining balance (with any additional hours or optional extras) due 4 weeks after your wedding.
We do not offer tax free discounts for cash payments. Unfortunately wedding photography is not considered an applicable service for status / tax exempt cards, whether on or off a rez.
Are there any additional fees for travel?
Our complimentary travel range is 80km round trip from Toronto, with travel thereafter charged at $0.80/km.
For example: Gravenhurst, ON is 328km round trip from our home base, meaning 248km will be subject to travel fees (248km x $0.80/km), for an additional $198.40.
How does an engagement session work?
We absolutely love engagement sessions and strongly encourage shooting them as getting to spend a little more time with you before your wedding day will help you feel more comfortable and confident in front of the cameras with us. Plus, you’ll end up with more photos of the two of you, just celebrating with each other during this crazy time of wedding planning. Honestly, it’s a win-win for everyone which is why we offer a discounted session if you are booking a wedding package.
Engagement sessions can be shot anytime up to 2 months before your wedding, last up to 1.5hrs, and include as many outfit changes as you can fit into that time (people typically go with a formal + informal clothing option, but really it’s up to you!) They can happen anywhere meaningful to you— at home, where you had your first date, at your favourite park— or simply a location that photographs beautifully and fits your vibe. We’re always happy to help if you feel stuck on where to go and what to do.
Your photos will be ready in 1-2 weeks and shared in a private online gallery.

If everything sounds and feels right after this we’ll move forward with digitally signing the contract and securing your payment. After that, we will be officially booked in together!
Engagement Session
If you book an engagement session, this will likely be our first in-person meeting! We enjoy these sessions because they help you get comfortable in front of the camera, show you how we work, all with the added bonus of giving you beautiful photos of this special moment in your lives.
We recommend shooting your session at most 2 months before your wedding in case you want any printed, or digitally designed, materials in time for your day.
Wedding Questionnaire
We have a fairly comprehensive questionnaire that we’ll send you approximately four weeks before your wedding. This questionnaire is designed to gather all of your final timeline details, shot list, moodboard, and any other relevant information to ensure we are fully prepared to capture your special day as you envision it.
Wedding Day
We did it, this is what we’ve been waiting for!! Enjoy it and take in every moment— as much as you can— your wedding day flies by so quickly! This is where the bulk of our work begins; we’ll hang out with you all day, we’ll cheer you on, hold your bouquet, and track down your wandering family members for photos.
A few days after your wedding we’ll send some preview photos. In 4-6 weeks, your full gallery will be ready with beautiful memories you can treasure forever.
If you want printed items like a photo book or prints, we’re happy to help but there is no rush— you can come back to this later when you, and your budget, are ready.
