About us

L-R: Hannah, Stef, Ethan

We met in college earning our BAA’s in Photography where we spent 4 years together creating, learning, and occasionally making a group decision to not go to class. It wasn’t until we graduated that we individually wanted to get into wedding photography so we decided to do it together. All of these years later and we are still here, still best friends, and still shooting side by side.

Our style is a mix of two distinct styles of photography that with years of experience under our belt we have created a beautiful balance between; documentary wedding photography allows us to be as unobtrusive as possible during events, focusing on organic moments and bringing your stories to life through candid captures. We have a deep love for editorial photography as well, so we appreciate a more structured scene if you want to feel glamorous and chic through thoughtful composition, posing, and lighting. We work to your unique comfort level in a way that feels authentic to you while pulling from these two styles of photography.

As wedding photographers, ultimately we love to make our clients happy by simply capturing their love whether being a fly on the wall, giving guidance, or— more often than not— doing a little bit of both. We aim to create an exciting and easy going photo experience that makes you feel comfortable and confident beginning to end.

Stef

she/her

Stef most enjoys creating editorial-like photos that make her couples feel confident, chic, and like being in front of a camera is their day job. She is obsessed with every dog ever, and her and Ethan’s rescue, Razzie, is no exception. There's a 12/10 chance you'll find her singing and dancing behind her camera during your wedding reception.

Hannah

she/her

Hannah searches for beauty in quiet and candid moments, getting inspired by the beautiful nature of people, in everyday life, in everyday situations. She enjoys gardening, tending to her massive family of indoor plants, her dogs Blue & Peach, and annoying her husband by asking “what are we having for dinner?” the second she wakes up in the morning.

Ethan

he/him

Ethan’s work is inspired by the environment— whether it be in the middle of a forest, or in a reception hall- he finds unique lighting and angles to create emotional images. He most enjoys mountain biking, spending time away at his cottage with Stef & Razzie, being surrounded by water, and nights out with friends. Ethan is proudly Mohawk from Six Nations of the Grand River.

Who we’re looking for

Being fully present throughout your complete wedding planning process (before, during, and after) is important to us, which is why we only take on a limited number of weddings per season. This gives us the flexibility to truly invest in our relationship together, and focus on you.

Creating a genuine connection with our couples is incredibly important to us! As wedding photographers, we’re looking for easy going people who get giddy thinking about each other, who we can joke with, and who can turn a ‘quick meeting’ into a 2 hour coffee break. We want couples who are over the moon with each other, and who send us their favourite recipes, Netflix recommendations, and— most importantly— photos of their pets. Couples who think they talk about their partner too much— you’re not, don’t worry—, couples who don’t mind going outside in a little bit of rain, who are adventurous, and who aren’t afraid to share embarrassing stories with us (believe us, we have plenty to share too)!

Above all else, we are looking for couples and families who trust us; clients who have gone through our work and understand the type of wedding photos we deliver, and who genuinely love who we are and what we do! At the end of the day, we are people who love wedding photography and we want to capture your day in a beautiful, thoughtful, and authentic way that brings your love story to life.
