From the stylish décor to the iconic AGO architecture that provided a striking backdrop for portraits, Claire & Kris’ wedding at the Art Gallery of Ontario was a perfect mix of modern elegance and playful, editorial inspired moments.

The morning began with calm, joyful energy as Claire and Kris got ready with their closest family and friends at The Hilton. Claire’s Narces gown was stunning, to say the least, and later in the evening the dress transformed into a short cocktail number, adding a fun and unexpected touch to her attire. These intimate moments of preparation set the tone for a day full of laughter, emotion, and effortlessly chic style.

After their first look, we explored the AGO for portraits. One highlight was capturing the bridal party in the Henry Moore Sculpture Centre— an unconventional but incredibly striking and unique location. Their reversed ceremony and reception layout allowed for unique perspectives throughout the venue, making every photograph feel fresh. The floral circle, designed by Joey Butta of White Oak Floral Co., gave the ceremony a soft and modern focal point, balancing intimacy with dramatic elegance.

The couple’s colour palette of mint green and peach fuzz was both fun and timeless, alongside playful angles on staircases to candid shots during the evening’s celebrations, every part of their day was well considered from start to finish.

Claire & Kris’ day is a perfect example of combining editorial inspired photography with documentary storytelling— authentic moments that feel elevated but still full of their personality.
