Wendy & Stephen's City Engagement at The Verity
We were a little apprehensive when Wendy suggested shooting their engagement photos at the same venue as their wedding
“Don’t they want to go somewhere different?! These photos will look so similar to their wedding day?! Maybe we should suggest somewhere else?!” is what we kept asking ourselves in the days leading up to this shoot but after all was said and done, we were totally wrong. We were so happy to have had the opportunity to shoot at the Verity and even walk around the George beforehand, and we were especially happy that we got to do this with Wendy & Stephen! The Verity is located beside, as well as in conjunction with, the George Restaurant on Queen East in Toronto. It’s part hotel, part women’s club, part spa, part business facility, and the two are connected by a couple of different (and confusing but eventually you get the hang of it) hallways.
There are so many different rooms that we got to go into and considering how beautiful it was outside we even stepped into the courtyard for a few photos too! This was such wonderful practice for Wendy & Stephen’s wedding day, even just walking around the hallways to orient ourselves haha, and we’re so thankful that we were wrong about shooting here twice!
