We met in college earning our BAA’s in Photography where we spent 4 years together creating, learning, and occasionally making a group decision to not go to class. It wasn’t until we graduated that we individually wanted to get into wedding photography so we decided to do it together.

All of these years later and we are still here, still best friends, and still shooting side by side.

What we love most is our ability to be storytellers

With each wedding, family, and event that we photograph our goal is to bring your stories to life by capturing authentic and intimate moments. We love a more structured, editorial, scene if you want to feel glamorous and chic, but ultimately we love to make our clients happy by simply capturing their love, whether being a fly on the wall, giving guidance, or a little bit of both.

We aim to create an exciting and easy going photo experience that makes you feel comfortable and confident, beginning to end.

At Home

Shooting at home lends itself to a more casual, documentary approach, with candid photos capturing all of your everyday moments that make you and your family unique— getting ready together (chaos and all!), cooking in the kitchen, running in the backyard, and playing your favourite games. Let’s capture all of the things that make your house a home.

Great for newborns and young kids, even maternity sessions with your partner

On Location

Let’s go to your favourite park, beach, or anywhere sentimental. When shooting on location we love to mix documentary photography— letting you do your own thing and shooting on the go— with some formal, posed, photos.

Great for families with littles ones, even a multi-generational family, as well as a maternity session with your partner

In Studio

If you’re interested in a more editorial feel to your photos by going all out, this option is for you! Here we will shoot with a more thoughtful and styled approach so you can feel glamorous and chic. This type of shoot can feel intimidating because it’s much more structured, but we promise we’ll give you lots of direction and help you feel comfortable and confident so if you’ve been thinking about or have similar photos on your Pinterest board, this is your sign to do it!

Great for a solo maternity session, but also for anyone who wants to shoot over winter

QUESTION:

Is there an ideal time for maternity photos?

ANSWEr:

Between 30-36 weeks is typically the best time for maternity photos, but truly it’s up to you! We want you to still feel comfortable being on your feet and moving around so this could mean a little earlier in your pregnancy, or it could mean shooting a little later, everyone is different so listen to your body!

QUESTION:

Can the mini sessions be shot somewhere other than Toronto?

ANSWEr:

This is the most affordable option we can offer that allows you to come to us whenever your schedule and budget allows. Most of our clients are based in Toronto or around the GTA so having set locations in Toronto— in the west and east end— makes this a happy, and beautiful, meeting point for all of us.

Since the mini-session is so short we encourage you to make a day of being in the city so your travel, near or far, is worthwhile— have lunch, explore the park we’re shooting at, see the sites!

QUESTION:

Is there an additional cost for renting a studio?

ANSWEr:

Yes, there is a cost for renting a studio in addition to our photo session fee. Costs vary depending on the studio but they typically range from $150-$250/hr +HST.

We prefer to purchase the studio rental and add it into your invoice with us, as most places only offer a studio credit instead of a refund for cancellations. If we need to cancel or reschedule our session, we will hold the studio credit to apply to a new session with you or someone else; this means you do not need to pay for the studio until we actually use the space together.

What’s the timeline for receiving photos?

ANSWEr:

Your photos will be made available within 1-2 weeks via a private online gallery where you can view, share, and download everything in high resolution. Your gallery will also include prints and personalized photo book options should you like.

What’s the payment breakdown?

ANSWER:

For our standard sessions we do 2 equal instalments; 50% as a non-refundable retainer to secure your session, and your remaining balance due on the day of the shoot.

For mini sessions the full amount is due upon booking. The session is non-refundable if you are a no-show or are late for your time. If there is inclement weather your payment will be moved forward to your rescheduled date or you can receive a full refund if you are not able to make it.

E-Transfer is our preferred method of payment, we also accept all major credit cards, and PayPal.
